Candle meditation

 

Candle meditation is one of the easies way to focus on your meditation. Candles can be used to focus your mind, to relax to tune into your inner spirit.It provides light in the darkness and symbolises the flame of the spirit that burns on even through our darkest hour.

 

Select an appropriat candle, choose the focus of you meditation and use this as a guide when selecting your candle.The colour and the fragrance of the candle will have effect on you in your meditation.

 

Your meditation space

Make sure that your meditation area is pleasant and free from clutter and noise. Light some insence if you wish and set the candle on a table so that it is level your eye line

 

Light your candle

Once your candle is lit, sit comfortably and take three deep breaths, exhaling fully.Study the candle flame. Watching as it swifts between movement and stillness.

 

starting to tune in

As you keep your focus on the candle, you will begin to feel focused and peaceful. If your attention starts to wander, gently draw it back to the candle's flame.

 

moving the energy

You will now find that the flame of the candle responds to your focus. You will it to grow taller or remain still, and this is a good comfirmation of the power of your meditation. The candle will be releasing as it burns and you can now visualise your wishes or intentions.

 

Visualise your wish

As you gaze at the flame, see the effects that you wish for.Begine by turning wish within your self allow it to grow stronger as you meditate.Now direct the feeling of the wish towards the focus of your meditation

 

Complete your meditation

to finish your meditation session, take three deep breaths and blow the candle out.
